The weather here is beautiful. Northern schools’ Spring breaks have begun, and F.S.U. is breaking its semester. Panama City Beach is beginning to see many college students from many states joining the Snowbirds who’ve been here. Panama City Beach Police, Bay County deputy sheriffs and State Troopers are patrolling streets and little scooters are starting to swarm.

.I’m a fan of Adrián Fernández, so I am happy to read that he will race an Aston Martin Le Mans prototype in the 12 Hours of Sebring in March. He’ll team with Darren Turner, Chis Buncombe, Stefan Mucke, and Harold Primat.
Craigslist help-wanted ads in Bay County are mildly humorous.
Freecycle.org’s Panama City user group is as funny as Craigslist.
“HELP!!!!!
There is a live possum in my garbage can. I put trash in and it just stared up
at me. I opened the lid and left it open but it will not get out. Does not act
aggressive, just lays there and looks at you. Don’t know if animal control or
rescue works on Sunday. If you want to come and get it out and even take it with
you, please…..do so.”
I have worked in the Rescue Mission for two months, assisting momeless people in finding jobs. And I’ve resumed studies in F.S.U. Panama City, taking three classes: Intercultural Communication, Research Methodology for Communication and Interviewing. In the research methods class, I will likely think of my participation in the annual, nationwide homeless count January 28 & 29. And I will think upon my life’s experiences in the intercultural communication class and the interviewing class. The interviewing class will help me interview clients in the Rescue Mission and will help me all through a future career in professional communication.
